The People Behind RRD CIC

We are on a mission to help people release the impact of stress and trauma from the body and to give the next generation a life tool for lasting well-being.

Release Recover Discover CIC was created to make body-led healing simple, safe, and accessible.

Our work helps adults understand how stored tension affects physical, mental, and emotional well-being. Through every programme purchased, we contribute to our Youth Mission, helping young people learn a life tool before stress and trauma shape their adult lives.

Dr. (Honoris Causa) Natural Medicine

Caroline is the co-founder of Release Recover Discover CIC with her son Daniel and the creator of the Total Release Experience®. Her work grew from personal experience, professional training, and a deep belief that the body holds the key to healing.

For more than a decade, Caroline has helped people release the impact of stress and trauma through a safe, guided, body-led process. Her approach teaches people how to reconnect with their body, release stored tension, and begin to feel more in control of their physical, mental, and emotional well-being.

Caroline is also the author of Feel It To Heal It and is committed to making this work accessible to families, schools, communities, and organisations.

Daniel Wood

Co-founder RRD

Director of International Operations

UN Peace Ambassador

Daniel works alongside Caroline to bring Release Recover Discover CIC to the people, families, schools, and organisations who need it most.

Having experienced the Total Release Experience® himself, Daniel understands the difference it can make when someone learns how to release stress and trauma from the body. His own journey through challenge, change, and healing gives him a deep passion for supporting others, especially fathers and young people.

Daniel leads the technology, systems, and accessibility behind the programme, helping make RRD available online, at home, and in different languages.

Our Mission

Our mission is to empower and inspire one million young people to release stress, recover their well-being, and discover who they are before childhood stress becomes an adult struggle.

Stress and trauma do not only live in the mind. They can leave tension held in the body, affecting how people feel, think, behave, learn, work, and relate to others.

RRD CIC gives people a simple, guided way to release that tension safely. Adults who take part do more than support their own healing. They also contribute towards our Youth Mission so young people can learn this life tool early.

When one adult chooses to heal, they become an Inspiration for the Next Generation.

I’ve gone from living with trauma and using self-destructive behaviours to having trauma in the past and being kind to myself. My depression has lifted, my anxiety levels have lowered significantly,

I’m generally calm and relaxed, I no longer have nightmares or flashbacks, I’m sober, have consistently good energy levels, and enjoy self-care.’

The programme has helped me release years of trauma. Daily, I was experiencing PTSD flashbacks and anxiety, and this has vanished. This has helped me cope with day-to-day emotions and hardship very well.

I highly recommend it just because this is the first of many things that I have found to have worked.’

H.E. Chief Dr. Daniel Wood — A Life of Service, Peace and Leadership

His Excellency Daniel Wood, also known in his cultural capacity as Chief Daniel Ongaria, is a humanitarian, peace advocate and trusted leader whose work brings together diplomacy, security, community service and trauma recovery.

Daniel is recognised within his circles as a United Nations Peace Ambassador, using his position to promote peace, unity, dignity and positive relationships between communities. His public work has also included humanitarian and cultural diplomacy initiatives, and he was appointed an AIDO Goodwill Ambassador alongside other international figures, supporting the organisation’s work in cultural diplomacy, human dignity and community development.

He also serves as an Ambassador for Hilton Dover Marina, representing the importance of hospitality, connection and bringing people together.

In his cultural and leadership role, Daniel serves as Chief Daniel Ongaria, supporting the African Royal Diaspora and working alongside HRH Princess Kendal Aminat in humanitarian and cultural initiatives. Publicly available profiles describe his role as supporting Her Royal Highness in these areas and contributing to projects that build bridges across communities and national boundaries.

For HRH Princess Kendal Aminat, Daniel is also a trusted security adviser and right-hand man, providing support, guidance and a steady presence when representing humanitarian and community interests.

A particularly important part of Daniel’s work is his involvement as co-founder of  the RRDCIC — Release, Recover, Discover Programme — and its focus on trauma relief, recovery and resilience. His contribution reflects a belief that supporting people through difficult experiences requires compassion, understanding and the opportunity to rebuild from within. His involvement with trauma-recovery work has been publicly documented alongside H.E. Dr Caroline Purvey and the RRDCIC programme.

Daniel’s journey demonstrates that leadership is not simply about a title or position. It is about service, loyalty, responsibility and the willingness to stand beside people when they need support most.

Whether serving as a peace ambassador, cultural chief, humanitarian advocate, security adviser or colleague, Daniel represents a commitment to making a difference — protecting those around him, supporting recovery, strengthening communities and helping create a more peaceful future.

Chief Daniel Ongaria — a man of service, strength, loyalty and purpose.
