Stronger People. Healthier Communities. Brighter Futures.Life

Release Recover Discover CIC works with community organisations,

youth groups and charities to help people release the effects of stress

and build stronger physical, mental and emotional wellbeing.

Our simple, body-led approach gives people a practical tool they can continue using for themselves.

The need within our communities

Too Many People Are Carrying More Than We Can See

Across our communities, people are living with the effects of stress, trauma, loss, loneliness, financial pressure, family breakdown and difficult life experiences.

These pressures can affect how someone feels, thinks, behaves and connects with others. They may appear as anxiety, low mood, anger, poor sleep, physical tension, withdrawal or a constant sense of being overwhelmed.

Talking can help, but many people struggle to explain what they feel. Others may understand what happened to them but still feel the effects within their body.

Release Recover Discover offers another way forward.

We help people understand the link between their experiences, the tension held within their body and the problems they face today. Most importantly, we give them a practical way to begin releasing that tension safely.

‘I’ve noticed my chest tension has released substantially. My voice has opened up, and I use my diaphragm when I speak; people can actually hear me when I speak. I no longer push myself beyond what I’m prepared to do.

Support Shaped Around Your Community

Every community is different. We begin by listening to the people who know it best. We can then discuss the right level of support for your organisation, your group and the people you serve.

Talks and Awareness Session

Educating Communities on the impact of stress

Our talks explain how past and present stress can affect the body, mind, emotions and behaviour. Participants gain a clear understanding of why they may feel or react as they do, without judgement or blame.

Guided Programmes

Education, practical guidance and continued support

Our programmes combine clear education with guided body led sessions. Participants learn at their own pace and receive the support they need as they begin their personal journey.

Facilitator Training

Creating support that remains within the community

We can train suitable people to guide and support others. This helps organisations build knowledge, confidence and lasting support from within their own community.

A Practical Tool for Everyday Life

The RRD Programme helps individuals and communities to understand that their reactions are not signs of weakness or failure. They can often result from a body that has carried too much for too long.

Through education, guidance and a simple body-led practice, people can begin to:

  • Release built-up physical tension
  • Feel calmer and less overwhelmed
  • Improve their understanding of themselves
  • Recognise their physical and emotional responses
  • Respond more calmly to everyday pressure
  • Build greater confidence and self-awareness
  • Take an active part in supporting their own wellbeing

This is not about forcing people to talk about difficult experiences. It gives them a safe and practical way to work with their body and move forward at their own pace.

Young people need more than crisis support

Give Young People a Tool Before They Reach Crisis Point

Many young people now live with intense pressure from education, relationships, family circumstances, social media and uncertainty about their future.

Their distress may appear as anxiety, anger, withdrawal, poor sleep, low confidence or behaviour that others find difficult to understand.

We want young people to know that they are not broken. Their body may simply be responding to everything they have experienced and carried.

By helping them understand these responses and giving them a practical way to release tension, we can offer more than short-term comfort. We can give them a tool they can carry into adult life.

Why work with Release Recover Discover?

z

Simple

We explain everything in clear language that people can understand.

Inclusive

People can take part without having to share private experiences with a group.

Practical

Participants gain a tool they can use beyond the original session or programme.

Sustainable

Training people within communities helps knowledge and support continue to grow.

Our wider purpose

Release Recover Discover CIC exists to make body-led support available to those who may not otherwise be able to access it.

When adults begin to release the effects of their own stress and trauma, the benefits can reach far beyond one person. They can become calmer parents, stronger role models, more understanding leaders and an inspiration for the next generation.

We want to work with organisations, funders and community leaders who share our belief that everyone deserves the chance to understand themselves, release what they have carried and discover who they can become.

‘I now have a reliable way to manage stress and release what I have carried from the past.’
